- [Moderator] Another great technique to make sure you're shifting from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset and maintaining it is to practice in a specific area, a growth mindset. Most specifically, we want to talk about practicing your growth mindset in your business. Of course, the best way to practice is simply to model it, which means to teach it to other people. Now, what we want you to do is number one, be intentional about how you speak to your employees and to your contractors and to others with whom you work. Remember just a few minutes ago, we were talking about the types of language and phrases somebody with a growth mindset might use versus a fixed mindset. So remember, reinforce and compliment in regard to their work effort. Avoid complimenting them as to their natural abilities or to their circumstances. So for example, if one of your contractors does a great job in one of your projects, you might say…
