- [Guide] So far, you've been practicing how to bring a mindful attention to your home base of the breath. For the next four sessions while we'll continue using breath as a primary anchor, we will also widen the experience of mindfulness of our body by exploring the realm of physical sensations in a direct, non-judgmental way. A grade school teacher asked her class what they thought was the purpose of the body. Their response, to carry their head around. For many people, one of the insights that come at this point in the mindfulness daily at work program is realizing how rarely they're aware of what's happening inside their body. Yet, mindfulness of the body at work can be a way of gaining deeper insight into your own lived experience.
