- [Scott] Have you ever wondered how you could be super successful at work, be a driver and get stuff done while maintaining a calm, zen-like approach? I grappled with this question for over 20 years in my career. You see, I'm a bit of a dual agent. On one hand, I've been meditating and doing mental exercises like visualization since I was 13, and on the other, I've been operating in the business world as an executive, holding down high-pressure roles and dealing with a really demanding schedule. Mastering these powerful skills like meditation and visualization has helped me not only manage stress but has allowed me to create the life I really want.
I'm Scott Shue, head of Mindfulness and Compassion at LinkedIn. In this LinkedIn learning course, I'll share some of the exercises I've found most useful blending the two worlds together. I'll share some of my favorite techniques, but also talk about why they work and how to build in the systems and practices that can help keep you on track. So if you've ever wondered if meditation could work for you, this is a great chance to try it out. Join me as we explore the world of meditation in a very practical and easy way.
