- Imagine seeing a map of the world and all across it are blinking lights, representing people who know about, respect, and rely on your organization. Each light is someone who's heard about your efforts or an organization that has adopted new ways of thinking or acting because of the ideas you've shared with the world. Over time, rather than lots of little lights scattered here and there, there'll be campfires glowing, then bonfires blazing, and eventually, the whole world will be a light with your ideas. Okay, in the real-world, we don't actually have a map like this. So we have to find other ways to track our impact. We do this by measuring the variety of signals that show the adoption of our ideas.
