Running a factory requires managing capacity. Managing operations is about maximizing efficiency and effectiveness. Operations managers use math to calculate how much they can do, how fast they can do it, and what resources they'll need to get it done. They also need strong leadership and interpersonal skills in order to mobilize and motivate their teams.
