- Let's imagine that the first increment has delivered the new cloud-based storage system to the business. Over the next few weeks, as people start to use the system, we observe that people are able to find information more easily and that in turn is leading to an increase in productivity. These changes resulting from a project's output are called outcomes. Eventually, these outcomes will be measured and expressed as benefits. So let's break this down a little and see who's involved and how these outcomes can be achieved.
