- So, you've had an ethics situation, right? I guess one of the things you need to look at is, is this an ethics issue, or is this an ethics crisis? The real easy, fundamental way to look at this is, how many people is this going to affect? Now, this may be just internal to your company. If it's a $2000 issue, that's probably not going to affect a lot of people in your company. If it's a $20 million issue in a $40 million company, everybody in the company is now affected by this, potentially, right? That's a crisis. It all is, you know, it depends upon the magnitude of people it's going to affect. Internal company, and obviously, if you're going to affect more than a few people external to the company and that becomes a matter of public record, you have to consider that as well, and maybe treat it as a crisis.
