- If you're not landing coverage, it can be two things. It can be that your stuff stinks. And I'm just going to be honest with you right here. Right now, me and you, your stuff has to be stellar. It's got to be newsworthy. Start looking at some of the headlines and what people are printing and what people are talking about. Find a way to engage in a conversation that everybody is talking about, that's trending. Start setting Google Alerts on yourself. The other reason why you might not be landing coverage is because your competition is stealing away your spotlight. And we don't want that. I'll just end this as being the go-to expert, you must know what's going on in your industry, in the news, and what's trending.
