Making recognition a routine

- Recognition is one of the best ways to improve employee engagement. If you recognize a person for a job well done, you'll find that person puts in a whole lot more effort, and you'll probably start to see that person take more ownership of what they do without being asked to do so. Yet, two out of three people say they receive no workplace recognition in a given year. In order to lead through relationships, it's vital that you make employee recognition a part of your daily routine. That way, you'll be able to influence others through their own intrinsic motivation. Let's look at how to do it. First, understand that every person likes to be recognized in different ways.
