Making positive personal choices

- Keeping your stress levels manageable is a goal that's within your reach. I know that sometimes the topic of stress can seem large and complex. However, it really all comes down to making a few simple, positive choices about how we think and how we behave. First, consider diet and exercise. It's a big topic, but just remember that long-term success at improving your diet and exercise isn't about becoming a dietician or a marathon runner. In fact, taking on big goals too fast can cause a quick relapse. Start small, choose one or two small goals for the year. They can be as simple as avoiding or reducing one type of food and choosing to take walks a few times each week. Your odds of success with these choices go up since they're easier to stick with, which means your odds of improving upon them in the future also goes up. Next is what I call outcome visualization.
