- A job is what you're paid to do. Playing to your strengths is what you're made to do. Recently, I was on a flight and I was sitting next to a gentlemen by the name of John who happened to be a farmer. And I began to ask him about his family and he told me that he was married to Kathy and they had two boys who were gifted mechanics. What's interesting, when they were in school, school didn't celebrate their strengths. They wanted them to just be normal. But what John and Kathy discovered that their boys really loved working with their hands. So they had an opportunity to attend a monster truck event and they became enamored so much so that they have developed a whole business around monster trucks, because that's what they love to do.
