Make it collaborative
(upbeat music) - Here's the cold truth about the acquisition of knowledge. The reality is we absorb content better alone, it's 'cause we can use whatever format best suits us to absorb that content. But we learn better in groups because in group settings we turn learning into experiences and we remember experiences. There's all kinds of advantages to learning in group settings, we can see how other people solve a problem and then be able to learn from the way that they solve it. We can overlay the relationships that we have with people and make learning fun, it takes a little bit of a stress out of learning. But probably the greatest advantage to learning in a group setting is that we can ask questions of our peers that we may not ask of our superiors 'cause we're afraid that they're going to judge us or that we're going to have that feeling that we're the only one that doesn't know something.
