Sometimes though, our best source of confidence is right in front of us, in the form of our colleagues, friends, and confidants. Tapping their support and outside perspective isn't always intuitive, is it? You might wonder, what if I seem needy or inadequate asking for help? Well, here's a mindset shift for you. The most confident people ask for help from their network more than others, not less. And they do it more directly than less confident people. A study from Harvard Business School found that openly asking for help actually improves your reputation in others' eyes.
