Maintain team focus
- As leaders, we know that we have to prioritize. When we make prioritization decisions we're choosing what not to do as much as we are what to do. but establishing what's most important is only the first step. The second step is actually just as important. That step is focus. It sounds a lot easier than it is. We all live in a world of competing priorities and never ending distractions. It's easier to do many things poorly than it is to do one thing really well. Your vision and values can help you stay focused. But a couple of simple techniques can also help. The first and most important technique to help you stay focused is to say no. No is a wonderful tool that clarifies what's important now. If no sounds too final try using not right now.
