- [Joshua] Lean accounting is an emerging field of managerial accounting that presents incredible opportunities to enterprises and the accounting industry that supports it. I trust that this course has equipped you with the knowledge needed to become a fully fledged lean accountant. Now it can be hard to know where to get started in all this. So my advice is to just have a go, be receptive to feedback and open to changes. By nature, lean thinking organizations are adaptable, so anything that supports that such as lean accounting, needs to be, too. Be prepared to make mistakes along the way. Making mistakes are an important part of learning and an opportunity to grow.
