Living break to break

- When you're living break to break, like you come in and you're thinking about when's the next time I get my break? Okay, I can get through these three hours 'til I have my lunch break. Okay, now I can get through these four hours 'til I can go home. You know, that's a sign that maybe your job's not a right match for you, you know? We all thrive when, when there's a couple elements of how we thrive. One is that we get to do work where we're using our strengths. So we feel like we get to bring our best self and do things that we're good at and that we can see make a difference. So one, you know, does your job allow you to use your strengths? Do you feel like you're contributing in a way that feels good to you? If you have that, you're probably less looking for your breaks, and then, the second thing is the environment that we work in, and that includes our colleagues. Do we work with people that we like and respect? Do we look forward to seeing them? Doesn't mean you're best friends…
