- A sale cannot happen without a few things. It's impossible for a sale to even exist if the buyer cannot afford it, the purchase isn't their decision, they just don't need it, or they aren't buying it now. Think about it. If they don't have the money to buy it with, then how are they going to buy it? If it's not their decision, then they can't buy it. If they don't need it, then why would they buy it? People don't just buy things for absolutely no reason. And the entire process wouldn't exist without the need for the product or service right now, or at least in the near foreseeable future. So, if all of this is true, then why wouldn't you as a salesperson ensure that it's all correct and in order.
