- Level four of the Maturity Matrix is when the organization views training as a competitive advantage and puts an emphasis on proactively developing talent and capacity. This is where organizations can outmaneuver competitors because of the adaptability, flexibility, and creativity of their workforce. At level four, the organization has systems in place to reinforce centralized standards and methodologies. There's a governance process overseeing all the training within the organization and ensuring that standards are met. The organization also has policies for reviewing new standards, technologies, and methodologies to determine their appropriate use within the organization. Training and development considerations are made at the enterprise level, and training is involved in discussions about strategy.
