- Never forget that although it might just seem like an hour that you're speaking onstage that that one talk can last someone's lifetime. And sometimes, like, you know, we get that short rush after you're onstage and people in the audience want to come up to you after and tell you what they thought and show you their notes and ask you to sign their book of yours that you bought, or whatever. And you get that short rush of people, and sometimes you feel like that's it, you know, that you influenced their life for an hour, and then they go about their day.
