Leading your organization to success through mentoring

- Hayley Romer is one of the busiest people in the world. Not only is she the publisher for The Atlantic, but she is in an incredibly competitive industry that is changing all the time. Yet, she would take time out several times a month, to have lunch or breakfast with employees across the organization. Why does she do that? Well one, when she does that, she is gaining a pulse on what the marketplace is, because her employees are also the consumers. Two, she's also getting a pulse on how her employees are feeling, and what are the potential challenges or opportunities in the talent dynamics. And all great leaders need to have a pulse on that.
