- Seeking continuous improvement is not just for teams and team members. It's not just part of doing agile, it's at the heart of being agile. Continuous improvement is for us as leaders. We must remain curious. Even when we attain our first set of leadership goals it's only an invitation to seek new information, to set new goals and to expand our expertise. Here are some simple steps you can take to further your journey as a leader. First create a leadership team for yourself. In your organization or network you can find like-minded people who also want to grow. Meet as a team weekly to share ideas. With other leaders you're creating your own community of practice. You can pick articles or books to read, study, discuss and explore together. Next, consider finding a coach or mentor who can work with you one-on-one.
