- As I was preparing for this course, I asked a number of people what it meant for a leader to be consistent. Here are the most common responses. "They do what they say they're going to do." "Who I see today is the same person I see tomorrow." "They are steady and reliable." "They communicate expectations and they manage them." And, "They do the right thing over and over again."
