Larman's Laws

- Before diving too much into large-scale scrum, it's important to take a step back and think about where this and other enterprise agile frameworks come from. These frameworks are based on the observations and practices of a few agile coaches working at a couple of large organizations. That's why LeSS, like many other enterprise frameworks has created a short list of what they view as well-established truths. For LeSS, this is called Larman's Laws of Organizational Behavior. It's named after Craig Larman, who's one of the co-creators of the LeSS framework. Keep in mind that these are not rigorously tested, well-established principles. You shouldn't think of them as the same way you think of, Newton's law of universal gravitation. Larman's laws basically say that, organizations are implicitly optimized to avoid changing the status quo. Any change initiatives will be seen as the same as the status quo. Culture follows…
