- Now that you and your team are working from home, you may not have access to the same security protections you did when you were working from the office, and it's therefore helpful to keep in mind the following tips for trying to ensure that you and your team are taking steps to protect personal data from the risk of a privacy breach. First, remember to watch for phishing emails, right now disguised as alerts sent by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or even the World Health Organization. Some criminals are using the concerns around COVID-19 as a way to get people to click and download malware. If you see a phishing email, you should report it immediately to your IT team.
