- If your organization is just starting out with Agile, then your team might attract a lot of attention. There are often stakeholders outside the team who want to attend your Agile activities, often out of curiosity. Other times, a department will have an interest in the deliverable, so they may want to check in and see how the project's doing. An Agile team will almost always benefit from the added attention. The challenge is to maintain the interest in the product without bogging down the team with overzealous participation. The scrum master is responsible for setting up efficient activities, and they need to be very careful about who contributes. Think about the long-term efficiencies. They need to make sure that the right people are talking and the right people are listening. Still, it wouldn't be a good idea to tell an executive that they can't talk during a standup.
