You've probably sent your CV off an application form and you've been invited to an assessment center. It's probably been tough getting this far, but this is a great opportunity for your employer now, your potential employer to find out about all of the things that you've said in all of your strengths, all of the things that you're capable of for them to see this for themselves. Now, assessment centers can be quite costly and time intensive, so they tend to be something that not all employers do, but they are becoming more and more popular. I've spent 15 years as a recruiter and I've designed assessment centers for small businesses, as well as global brands. So, expect to see more and more of them as part of the recruitment process. And this is because they are such an effective way for companies to recruit. So, even though they can be quite costly, it's such an effective way for them to find out who you are and assess your suitability for that role while they're making the mistakes further down the line. And that's because interviews sometimes are not always the most effective way for them to assess your suitability and for you to get to know them too that could be for lots of different reasons sometimes when we're in an interview situation, it can be a bit staged and sometimes we can't always be ourselves, let our true self shine through, also, you can have terrible interviewers and really, really poor interview questions. So, throughout the day expect to be assessed and monitored all the time. Not just when you think that you're being assessed and monitored all the time, you'll be asked to do some individual exercises as well as some group exercises. And your personality traits will be monitored, your behaviors they will test your intelligence again, all listed against what they're looking for within that role, okay. So, let's get started.
