Follow along with these wrist and elbow exercises to ease common aches and pains associated with repetitive keyboard and mouse use.
- Hi, I'm Beater Bell, I'm a medical doctor and a yoga teacher. And this series is all about the health of your wrists. And practices for keeping your elbows healthy is really important because we're using our elbows a lot in our everyday work. But unfortunately a lot of people will develop difficulties over time if they're not being mindful. So I'm hoping that some of the practices that I'm going to share with you in this series will help you to prevent problems that might develop down the road. Carpal tunnel syndrome, de Quervain's tendonitis, tennis elbow, or golfer's elbow, usually those same conditions now are a result of using the mouse or using the keyboard a whole lot, through repetitive use. And your practices on Desk Yogi can help you potentially avoid those down the road. And if you already have a little discomfort in those areas, some of the practices, if you do them mindfully, might be a great way to try and bring back some more movement, some more strength and flexibility. So I hope you enjoy this series.
