- Introducing your team to investors is a lot like showing off the accomplishments of someone you care about. It's the time to do a little of what we sometimes call humble bragging. But in this case the humble bragging is justified because it helped get your business to where you're at. So if there's any hesitation of whether this is something to do, I always say it's very important in getting the investors to know you and your business. So when you've reached a point in your pitch where it's time to introduce your team members, here are a few things to note. Start with the core team. This is the founder, the chief technology officer, the chief operating officer, or any C-suite names. If they're not in the meeting with you, make sure to include a picture of them and their title in your deck. It's always nice to put a face to a name.
