- When you work in isolation, how successful and productive can you be? Chances are, not very. Even if you work as an individual contributor, you still need to talk things through with colleagues to solve problems, understand the work you're doing, et cetera. If you're working in a project environment, then you absolutely can't succeed without working with other people. Projects are about individuals coming together to form a team and deliver results, collaboratively.
