- Welcome to our Instructor Jam. I'm ready to jam. I was born ready. This is the "And? So?" game. And we were just talking before we recorded about struggling with this exercise oddly. It's a very simple exercise but I think the issue, at least for me, is that this is really meant to dig into deeper layers of a character that you know and create connections in your story. And so doing it in isolation is a little bit weird because we don't know what the character is, we don't know what the connections are, and so, and so, I say that a lot, we are uncovering layers and we don't necessarily know what they mean. - Right, but I did think it was really helpful as sort of a jumpstart to practice with just this blank slate character who you know nothing about and like really try to dig in. Although I struggled as really like plot minded person to keep it in the character vein because I kept going, "Oh, and then this happened in…
