Innovation vs. quality

Innovation vs. quality
- If you ask most executives which is more important, innovation or quality, they'll tell you "Both." And of course, they're right, but the truth is, depending on where you work, and what you do, one of them is likely to be a little more important than the other, and the purpose of this case study is to help you figure out which is more important where you work. So imagine a woman named Maki. She helps run an assembly line that manufactures car parts for high-end cars. Now, at a lot of companies like hers, one department designs the parts, and another one makes the parts. But her company believes that they get the best results if the same people do both. They figure, who better to find more innovative ways to make their parts better or more efficiently, than the people who make them all day long? And Maki is one of their most creative employees. In fact, she's won the company innovation award more times in the last decade…
