- Out of all the roles that I have, I think the team building and my role in that is probably the most essential role that I play at Facebook. And that starts with, obviously, hiring people that are better than you and being really thoughtful about the recruiting process, but that's step one, once you get the right people in the door and people that you would work for in a heartbeat. Step two is actually how do you bring those people together, which are all incredibly qualified, highly passionate, highly capable people? How do you get them to operate from individuals into a team? And I've been very focused on this over my time at Facebook. We get together as a team of leaders four times a year. Two times a year, we actually travel to a new market, where I believe my entire leadership team will benefit from the education and experience of that market, so for example, I brought my whole global team to Israel because there is an incredible amount of new business and venture activity…
