- Business analysis tasks are essential knowledge for any CBAP but you can't stop there, you need to know what makes up each one. Task work starts by identifying all 30 tasks. This would be a great point to do a quick brain dump. Remember, a brain dump helps you create your cheat sheet while helping you study. After listing all the tasks by knowledge area, we want to think about a kind of profile for each task. You'll need to be quite comfortable with tasks, so for each one, you'll need to know the following items. Like most things in your business analysis work, make sure you know the purpose of each task. If you haven't had much experience with a task, make sure to refer back to the BABOK Guide to feel more comfortable with how the task is used.
