- Hi there, Darrell from Chill. What is stress? This is one of the key components to beginning the journey in stress management. To know what stress is and to know how it expresses. Stress is tension or pressure that's applied to an object. You may have stressed something out and broken it because there was too much pressure applied to it. But the stress that we're talking about today is the pressure and the tension that's the result of challenging times of demanding circumstances that impact our mental and emotional wellbeing. Mindful meditation is not necessarily the thing that will cause a solution or a resolution to whatever the challenge may be. But what it will offer you is a skill a way to be in relationship to the stress. And most importantly the impact that it has on your physical body on your mental body and your emotional self.
