How women can network better

- [Instructor] I know, I know. You've heard all about the importance of networking before. But we need to talk about it, and I hope to share some insights you haven't heard, because it matters. Since I graduated from business school, I've worked at four companies. I've been on four for-profit boards, I've been on six nonprofit boards, I found one co-founder, I found one president of Elevate Network, I've invested in one joint venture, and I've bought one business. None of those connections has been made through a search firm. All of them have been through my network. It's examples like these that demonstrate why women report that networking is the number one unwritten rule of success in business.
