- Think about how often you make decisions based on recommendations from someone you trust. Maybe your friend recommends a restaurant to try, a show to watch, or an app to use. But if you don't know anyone who's tried a product or service how can you make a decision? Of course the person selling the product or service will tell you that it's great, but it means more coming from a third party. In fact, according to a 2018 study, 86% of customers read online reviews and 91% of 18 to 34 year-olds say they trust reviews as much a personal recommendations. We look to hear about the experience others have had with a product or service and often trust their opinion. So wouldn't it be great if people were constantly recommending your freelance business to others. Well with testimonials and case studies they can be.
