How to use a repair estimator
- [Instructor] Now, how do we actually use this repair estimator? First thing though to keep in mind is estimating repairs. They don't start with the repair estimator. They actually start by doing as much research on the subject property as possible. This means pulling comps and really analyzing the comps and letting the comps dictate what are the needed items and what are the needed pieces for our repair, estimate it. And doing that before you arrive so that when you get there you're ready to rock and roll and, and implement the system. Now, the worksheet, the repair estimator worksheet it's actually set up just as you would view a house. This is from the outside in basically starting looking at our neighborhood and our landscape and our lawn and our exterior, and then the sheet moves inside the house.
