How temp agencies work
- Temp agencies are pretty misunderstood by most job seekers. When people think of temp workers, they often think of receptionists, or laborers, or seasonal sales workers. But today, that's far from true. You will find short-term jobs across pretty much every business level across every industry. The cool thing about temp jobs is this, if you need to work sooner rather than later, temp jobs typically fill quicker than full-time jobs. The temp agency is typically moving quickly to address immediate needs that their client has. That being the case, the sooner you can start, the better. A few additional things to know about temp agencies, number one, you'll be employed by the agency, not the company that you're working at.
