- Let's talk about the impulsive boss. This is the boss who's always changing their mind. Who's always shifting priorities. Who's always chasing shiny objects. They come into the office in the morning with a set of priorities and by lunchtime those are washed away and a new set comes in. Or they go to a conference and they come back with 10 new ideas. The next day, guess what? Those ideas are gone. The upsides of working for an impulsive boss is that sometimes they're going to hit upon something really new and innovative and you get to be a part of it.
