How to say no to a potential client

- This may sound obvious, but you can't work with everyone. There's a limit to the amount of work you can take on and sometimes you'll have to say no. There are lots of reasons you may want to say no to a client. Maybe you're completely booked or they want work that's outside your skill set, maybe you're not interested in the type of work or you don't feel like you'd get along with them. Whatever the reason, you want to say no in a way that doesn't burn the bridge or hurt the client. You may want to with that person in the future, or you might have mutual relationships. Here are a few approaches you can take to let someone down easy. If you're overbooked but want to work with the client in the future, you can say, I'd love to work with you but unfortunately I'm completely booked until some time.
