- Any job you get is going to have a substantial impact on the rest of your life. The better job you get now, the better jobs you'll likely get in the future. This is the classic snowball effect, so it makes sense that you should put as much effort as possible into making sure you ace the interview process, otherwise, as the famous quote goes, "By failing to prepare, you're preparing to fail." Being prepared for an interview can be summed up into two major categories: doing your research, and being ready to answer the most common questions. Let's talk about each. Before you go into an interview process, you need to do as much research as you possibly can. Grab some coffee and stay up all night Googling. First and foremost, make sure you understand the company and the product as deeply as you can, and don't forget to actually use the product, if you can, and then you form your own opinions on its strengths and weaknesses.
