How often should you ask for feedback?

- How often should you ask for feedback? Let's table that question for a second. And remember the goal is not to end up at your year end performance review surprised. So, how often you ask, depends on your role, on your team, on your organization. Maybe it's project-based. You should be asking for feedback every time you start a new project or work with a new team. Maybe it is time-based, I can tell you this, It's not every day and it's not every Friday. That is too much of a burden on your manager. Think about getting feedback on maybe a monthly basis or quarterly basis or make sure you have enough check-ins and touch points with a few different managers so that you get to year end performance review with a ton of information.
