How to leave a legacy at work

- What will your legacy be at work and how will you create it? Knowing provides something to work towards of significance, which is profoundly motivating. You can download a set of questions with this video to help you or your employees articulate a desired legacy. For now, let's focus on exactly how you can leave a legacy. And you can do this in five ways, what I call the Five Footprints of Legacy. The first footprint is enduring results. These are major accomplishments that you envision, invest in, drive to realization, and ultimately look back on five to 10 years from now and say, "Hey, I did that. "That simply wouldn't have happened were it not for me." So define what legacy-worthy results are. Then help employees achieve it. Transfer of knowledge is the next footprint.
