How to identify the right internship

- It can be overwhelming to figure out what type of internship to look for. After all, the whole point of getting an internship is to figure out what the heck you want to do with your life. But don't worry, it's not as daunting as you think. Let's walk through exactly how you can find the right opportunity. Get out a pen and paper, or use the note section on the LinkedIn Learning platform. Write out what your professional interests are. It might be cutting-edge technology, non-profit work, marketing or accounting. Try to come up with five to 10 interests. Then, think about the people you know who work in these industries. You may not know anyone who works in the industries you're interested in and that's okay. Write out the names of people who can help you get connected to your desired industry.
