How to gain project management experience
- Organizations typically specify the level of education and experience they require for positions, so how do you gain experience if you need experience to get a job in the first place? There's no question that getting your first job or opportunity can be challenging. If you don't have much experience, you start by looking for internships, coordinator roles, assistant positions, or other entry-level opportunities. The most important thing is to get your foot in the door. From there, you can build your experience and flesh out your resume. Don't sell yourself short. You may have more experience than you realize. Think about the work you've done in the past, even if it wasn't project management.
