- Organizations typically specify the level of education and experience they require for positions, so how do you gain experience if you need experience to get a job in the first place? There's no question that getting your first job or opportunity can be challenging. If you don't have much experience, you start by looking for internships, coordinator roles, assistant positions, or other entry-level opportunities.
