- In order to get into the industry, here are the things I would do. First, what are the things that you already have in your toolbox that you can use as a resource, so by that I meant where did you go to school? Have you started to just write out your alumni who are in your business? Your natural network, your friends, your girlfriends, your friends' parents. Who do you know that's in the business? And write down a list of those people and that's where you really want to start because those people already have a desire to want to help you and everybody, the world is so small, if you start with your go-to network, that's always a great place to start. Second, today you have social media, which I never, didn't have, like so the ability to really put down who are the 10 to 15 people who I aspire to walk that path or do something similar to that?
