How to better control yourself and calm down

- The more you get to know yourself, especially in a situation that intimidates you, the better you're able to experiment with strategies to calm yourself down. Things like draining your brain, whenever something is really bothering us, putting it down on paper, or just that help us better control that physiological, neurological response that puts us in fight or flight mode, help us calm down so that we don't have an emotional response, but we can think more clearly about what's going on and what we really want on the other side. So in thinking about politics and conflict this is something that I'm advising you to just take some time, think about all of your triggers, experiment with those strategies of studying the world around you at work, the decisions, the people, and see what comes up for you. And then use that in combination back with your goals and your triggers to figure out what specific actions. What are you…
