- There are lots of different ways to manage projects depending on the type of organization that you're working in and the type of work that you're doing. Technology companies tend to use agile project management. Engineering and construction companies usually use a waterfall approach. When talking about the various project management methods, focus on your breadth and your depth. Some of the most common project management methods are Waterfall, Agile, Six Sigma, Lean, and Prince2. Ideally, it'd be good to be familiar with lots of the different approaches to project management. It's fine to demonstrate your technical knowledge by including some specific industry terms for the appropriate interviewers, just don't overdo it.
