- This question gives you a chance to tell a success story which can give the interviewer insights into your experience. So which story should you use about the best project you've ever worked on? Choose an example of success. A project where you were enthusiastic, one that your interviewer can relate to, and something that will put you in a positive light. It's great if you've worked on a project in a company that you can use as an example, but if you're fresh out of school, you can still pick a story about some volunteer work or a class project. Try to highlight details that might be similar to the job you're interviewing for and be careful not to use jargon that could confuse your audience. Start with the situation or task that you were facing. This sets up the drama, makes it interesting, and provides some context for your interviewer.
