Honor your commitments

- If you want to be an exceptional salesperson, and earn the respect and trust of your buyers, you have to honor the commitments you've given. Quite simply, if you say you're going to do something, and provide a product or service by a certain date, and by following the specifications they've requested, then you must honor that commitment. That doesn't seem to be an unrealistic thing to expect, does it? In your career or in your personal life, have you ever come across a person who says they're going to do something, agrees to participate in a group task, or promises to show up at a specific time for a meeting, or event, and when they don't, you get annoyed and frustrated. Obviously, a mistake can happen to any one of us, but if it happens regularly from a person, then I guarantee you keep that in your mind. Not honoring your commitments can label you as unreliable, unprofessional, and untrustworthy. Those are hard labels…
